Annette Ash (vocals/ guitar/ songwriter)
Annette’s music is described as, “Sultry and soulful with a unique style all
her own.” Annette’s Chicago roots are the genesis for her strong blues
influences that also include Jazz, Motown and Rock. A true musical
stylist, her songs are crafted with skills honed as a 25 year member of
WCS - West Coast Songwriters. In 2001 Annette formed CCSA - Central
California Songwriters Association and served as NSAI Chapter
Coordinator - Nashville Songwriters Association International. As rhythm
guitarist and vocalist, ‘The Annette Ash Band’ was formed with the late
Grammy nominated guitarist, Andrè Bush, South American Percussionist,
John Martin and renown bassist, Adán Infante. In 2009 she was
introduced to world class musicians with the distinguished Westphalian
School of Music in Münster, Germany. That relationship continues today
with performances in both Europe and the U.S..
Adán Infante (bass/ trombone)
Adán Infante’s innovative style draws from two decades of entertainment
in the world of jazz, hip-hop, rock and Latin music. As a multi-talented
musician, he is in demand both on stage and in the studio. Rooted in jazz,
Infante’s musical performances range from funk to classical bowing. As a
member of 40 Watt Hype, he has worked with Grammy Award winner
producer Art Hodge, receiving nominations for best Hip-Hop and title song
with Warner Brothers films. In 2009 Adán toured Germany with ‘The
Fresno Urban Jazz Experience’. He has performed world wide with
Cruise Lines, Disney, Vegas, Nashville, New Orleans and New York
headliners. Adán’s credits include Natalie Cole, Wayne Newton, Chicago,
Randy Travis, The Temptations and Sundance Film Festival to name a
few. Adan Infante also teaches in the California Central Valley.
Friedemann Kühn (drums/ percussion)
After studying popular music in Hamburg Germany, Friedemann Kühn
dedicated his studies to Jazz and drums in Enschede (Netherlands). He
graduated from the University with a Bachelors of Music. Kühn has
played numerous concerts and tours throughout Europe, Africa and the
United States with different Jazz, Blues and Big Band formations. Mr.
Kühn is a member of the VIC FIRTH Education Team and teaches drums
and latin percussion in music schools throughout Germany and performs
world wide. He is also an instructor at the Westphalian School of Music in
Münster, Germany
Timo Dresenkamp (keys/ fender rhodes)
Pianist, conductor, arranger and teacher in Jazz, Pop and Fusion. Several
projects brought Timo together with bands at home and abroad. Timo
studied jazz at the ArtEZ-Conservatory Enschede/ The Netherlands. In
2004 he founded the KSHG student orchestra and was conductor of the
orchestra for three years. Timo graduated with an M.A. in philosophy,
psychology and culture, communication and management in 2007. He
has performed with John Engels (Chet Baker Quartet), Silvia Droste
(German television Jazz Club), Malcolm “Molly“ Duncan (Average White
Band, Dire Straits), Jörg Achim Keller (leader of the HR Big Band), and
Ugonna Okegwo (Jacky Terrasson Trio - Cassandra Wilson band.) Timo
is a lecturer at the University of Münster, Germany and teaches
philosophy.
Jürgen Heller (saxophone)
Jürgen began his musical training on saxophone in his early twenties with
private tutors and later with the Jazz Academy in Dortmund, Germany.
Currently Jürgen is a music instructor in saxophone, clarinet and guitar.
He is a member of various musical groups in Jazz, Funk and Soul,
performing throughout Germany and the Netherlands. He has performed
in multiple appearances in the U.S. with the Big Band of the Westphalian
School of Music as a cultural exchange between the two Sister Cities,
Fresno and Münster.
