Afterglow is Playing at Fuso Italian Restaurant Tonight!

Afterglow performs at Fuso Italian Restaurant in Vacaville tonight, March 3,  from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.

After releasing one album in 1968, the band Afterglow disappeared from the music scene but the scene never forgets. Unbeknownst to the members of the band, the album earned a spot in the hearts of music fans around the world. The release of a CD in 1997 and a vinyl version in 2001 of the album all occured without the bands knowledge. The release gained additional critital and popular acclaim which only added to the mystique. Nearly fifteen years later, and 35 years after the original album, the band discovered that htey held a place in music history.

The band and it's story are now creating another legacy as the story of five young men from the hinterlands of northern California and Oregon worked hard, laid it all out there and were crushed by the faceless and cruel msuic industry.

The last laugh is theirs, though; as the happy ending is being written: the band records another album and stars in a documentary outlining this great American success story.
