Robert “Hollywood” Jenkins has been well known as a San Francisco Bay area, Guitarist, Vocalist. Hollywood decided that playing music was the coolest thing that you could ever do. Soon after, Hollywood played as a side man for many musicians like the Monterey Blues Festival with Beverly Stovall, The Oakland Convention Center backing John Lee Hooker and at Yoshi’s Lounge with Ricardo Scales. Additionally, He has performed with Jimmy McCracklin, Kenny Neal, Zakiya Hooker, among others. Hollywood’s style has been influenced by many guitarists such as B B King, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Wes Montgomery, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Hollywood was voted “New Blues Artist of 2007“, by the Bay Area Blues Society and most recently played Guitar on Blues Legend’s Jimmy McCracklin’s Recording of “Hey Baby”. Rod Verette Trio Will Be At Fuso's This Friday Night!

Rod Verette (bass) and Bob Nadler (drums) have been playing together off and on for over 40 years. This partnership was forged in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s Vallejo music scene, where many other top notch players made their marks. As the core for Rod’s trio, they bring a tightness and symbiosis to the music that only time and hard work can reveal.

When you add the talent of Roy Henderson (sax) this trio, like a pyramid, is so solid. Roy was raised in New Orleans, but calls Oakland his home. Both areas contributed musically to his diverse style.

A little bit of the South, some East Bay Grease, some Vallejo funk and a whole lot of straight ahead jazz makes for a totally fresh and singularly unique smooth jazz experience that’s not to be missed.
