Sin Silver Is Back! Come Enjoy Good Music And Great Food This Friday!

Friday August 28th 2015
7:30-10:30pm

Sin Silver and the Avenue are a 3 piece band with Sin Silver on

piano and vocals, Justin Vanegas on bass and Jason Bolich on

started playing at East Bay piano bars. At such venues, she

played, and indeed, still plays popular covers, Irish music and,

of course, her originals. Sin Silver and the Avenue is her effort to bring those originals to the main stream.

The music is essentially piano driven rock/pop with an Irish

sensibility with influences from Elton John, Billy Joel, Tori Amos

and Irish folk. Justin Vanegas is an accomplished guitarist who met Sin on the

East Bay circuit. He has toured with successful bands and has a

degree in music from Humboldt county.Jason Bolich of Septacy

fame was recruited by Justin to join the Avenue.

The Bob Jones Trio brings together three lifelong musicians with varied backgrounds in jazz, blues, R&B, jazz-fusion and progressive rock. The band is comprised of Bob Jones on keys and lead vocals, Marty Holland on bass and vocals and Guyle Taber on drums. Bob Jones, a world traveling jazz and blues artist, has played with renowned acts such as BB Coleman, Little Joe Blue, Chick Willis, and has opened up for James Brown, Wilson Pickett and War among others. Bassist-composer-producer Martin Holland, whose own music has been heard worldwide, has been associated with artists such as Melvin Seals, Stanley Turrentine, Joe Higgs, Buzzy Linhart, Henry Kaiser, Steve Kimock, Paul McCandleless, Warren Haynes, Kim Westin, Lenny Williams, Rodney Franklin and countless others in his nearly 40 years of work from performance to studio. Guyle Taber, a drummer for over 35 years, started early on as a snare drummer in drum & bugle corps, then on to numerous original material rock bands, fusion, progressive and techno style ensembles in addition to touring the northern CA, Oregon and Nevada areas as part of various cover bands playing dance club music.

Fun fact: The Bob Jones Trio had its start back in 1986 when Bob and Guyle played together in the initial version of the band."

Suspects Of Soul Is Back At Fuso's This Friday Night!

Friday August 14th 2015 6:30-10:30pm

About

Serving up generous portions of Funky Jazz with a side of Blues and a Dollop of Soul.

Description
Suspects of Soul was created to fill a need for great music at a time when none was available. Brought together by a mutual understanding of how to successfully play a room, Suspects of Soul fearlessly gathered on stage for the first time without a rehearsal knowing there was no musical challenge that could not be met. On that night in September, 2011 Herman Wilson, Jason Stewart, Stacy Starkweather and Marc Carmi Smith became Suspects of Soul.
