The Rod Verette Trio Will Be Playing For You This Sunday Night!

Rod Verette (bass) and Bob Nadler (drums) have been playing together off and on for over 40 years. This partnership was forged in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s Vallejo music scene, where many other top notch players made their marks. As the core for Rod’s trio, they bring a tightness and symbiosis to the music that only time and hard work can reveal.

When you add the talent of Roy Henderson (sax) this trio, like a pyramid, is so solid. Roy was raised in New Orleans, but calls Oakland his home. Both areas contributed musically to his diverse style.

A little bit of the South, some East Bay Grease, some Vallejo funk and a whole lot of straight ahead jazz makes for a totally fresh and singularly unique smooth jazz experience that’s not to be missed.
