The Used Blues Will Be Performing For You This Friday June 28th At Fuso's

Bluesmen Gary “Guitar” Anthony & Sean “Harmonica Mac” McGroarty joined blues forces in 2008 to perform in the popular Nor Cal group The Used Blues Band. In 2010 they started to explore the blues as a duo act and were overwhelmed at the response & demand for their style of blues.

In just over a year they have propelled themselves to international levels making it to the semi finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN. They have developed an ever growing list of diverse music.

Performing traditional Delta, Memphis & Chicago style blues but that is only part of what these two seasoned musicians can do. Add to this some great jazz classics, top 40, and a few Sinatra standards and you have an evening of great music for listening, dancing or dining.

Gary has been a worldwide professional touring & studio guitarist from the age of 17. Recently inducted into the Las Vegas Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for his earlier work, Gary’s authentic blues guitar licks and musical knowledge are one of a kind.

Sean started out as a roadie at the young age of 13, with some of the top rock bands of the late 70’s and early 80’s. Having performed and recorded internationally, he is also a clever songwriter and was nominated best harmonica player of the year by the West Coast Blues Hall of Fame in 2010 and 2011.

Songs performed include: Hit the Road Jack, Sweet Home Chicago, Just the Way You Look Tonight, Spooky, Wonderful World, Moondance, Stand By Me, Got My Mojo Workin, Tobacco Road, Landslide, Tears In Heaven, Breezin, Fly Me To The Moon, Black Orpheus & more
